Assignment #2 If You Love Something Set It Free

After Mrs. Mitty came out of the drugstore, they climbed into their automobile, Walter fastened his seat belt, turned on the windscreen wipers and carefully pulled away from the curb. As they drove out of Waterbury he noticed something so beautiful. He stopped the car as quickly as he could. Walter Mitty had the face only a mother could love. "honey, could you please go that drug store and buy me some band-aids." Mitty says to his wife. She gives him a strange look yet gets out of the car and walks into the store. Walter Mitty returns his gaze to the gorgeous girl across the street. He gets out of the car and walks towards her. They say love is blind but Mitty must not have had his glasses on at that time. This girl had been hit with the ugly stick. He had a hard time thinking of ways to talk to the girl. Mitty wasn't the brightest crayon in the box. He didnt have the best luck with the ladies but he thought to himself "If it weren’t for bad luck, I’d have no luck at all". So he decided to take the plunge. Mitty casually bumped into the women pretending it was an accident. "oh im sorry, i didnt see you there". "thats ok" said the girl. He couldnt take his eyes off of her. To him her face was brighter than the sun. Mitty thought about his wife. What was he doing? Although if you love something you should set it free and he loved his wife. Also all is fair in love and war so this was ok. "My names walter" he said reaching out a hand. "hi, im betty" she said shaking Mittys hand. When he heard that name a thousand bells chimed in his head. She was perfect. They got to talking more and he realized that his girl blows his wife out of the water. Love conquers all and this girl had definitely stole his heart. They were about to exchange numbers when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He looked up to see his wife standing behind him. Then looked to his side and realized there was no girl. "why do you look so serious" asked Mrs. Mitty. He didnt respond. "smile it won't kill ya".
